Healthbridge Sports & Management Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India bearing GSTIN 27AAGCH36345B1ZU, operates the Jointhevent platform (accessible at jointhevent.com), including all associated websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
Jointhevent acts as an intermediary platform that facilitates ticket sales for events organized by independent event organizers. Refund policies on our Platform are configured individually by each event organizer based on their specific event requirements. As a result, each event may have different refund terms.
We strongly recommend that you review the refund policy displayed on the event page before purchasing any tickets. By completing a ticket purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the refund terms applicable to that specific event.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility is determined by the specific refund policy that the event organizer has configured for their event. Key points to understand:
- Not all events offer refunds. Some events may be marked as non-refundable by the organizer, in which case no refund requests will be accepted for that event.
- The refund policy for each event is clearly displayed on the event page before you proceed with ticket purchase.
- Refund eligibility depends on when you submit your refund request relative to the refund window configured by the organizer.
- Requests submitted outside the applicable refund window will not be eligible for a refund.
- Tickets already checked in at the event venue are not eligible for cancellation or refund, regardless of the refund window status.
- Free tickets (zero-amount orders) are not eligible for refund as no payment was made.
3. Refund Window Modes
Event organizers can configure one of three refund window modes for their events. The applicable mode is displayed on the event page at the time of purchase.

| Non-Refundable | The event organizer has disabled refunds entirely. No refund requests will be accepted for tickets purchased for this event. These events are clearly marked as non-refundable on the event page. | The event page will display a notice indicating that the event is non-refundable before you complete your purchase. |
4. Refund Amount
The refund amount you receive depends on the refund percentage configured by the event organizer for their event.
- Organizers can set the refund percentage up to 100% of the ticket price.
- Partial refunds may apply if the organizer has configured a refund percentage lower than 100%. For example, if the refund percentage is set to 80%, you will receive 80% of your ticket price as a refund.
- The applicable refund percentage is displayed on the event page at the time of purchase, so you can make an informed decision before buying.
- The refund amount is calculated on the ticket price only and does not include platform fees or payment processing charges (see Section 5).
5. Non-Refundable Fees
Regardless of the event's refund policy, the following charges are non-refundable in all cases:
- Platform convenience fee — The service fee charged by Jointhevent for facilitating the ticket purchase.
- Payment gateway processing charges — Charges levied by the payment processor (Razorpay) for processing your transaction.
- GST on non-refundable fees — The Goods and Services Tax (GST) applied to the platform convenience fee and payment gateway charges is also non-refundable.
Only the ticket price (or the organizer-configured percentage thereof) is eligible for refund. The total refund amount will always exclude the above non-refundable components.
6. How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund on Jointhevent is simple and does not require you to create an account or log in. Follow these steps:
- Visit jointhevent.com/refunds to access the refund request page.
- Enter your Order ID along with the email address or phone number you used when purchasing the ticket.
- No account registration or login is required to submit a refund request.
- Select a reason for your refund request from the available options (e.g., event cancelled, event rescheduled, personal reason, medical emergency, duplicate payment, technical issue). A reason is required to submit your request.
- Track your refund status anytime by visiting jointhevent.com/refunds/track.
Your Order ID can be found in the confirmation email or SMS sent to you at the time of purchase.
7. Processing Timeline
Once your refund request is submitted, it will be processed according to the following timeline:
- Review: All refund requests are reviewed within 48 hours of submission.
- Refund processing: All approved refunds are initiated through Razorpay. Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. Processing times may vary depending on your payment method and bank; some methods such as UPI may be processed faster.
- Original payment method: Refunds are always credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We do not issue refunds to alternative accounts or methods.
- Payment processor: All refunds are processed through Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please check your refund status at jointhevent.com/refunds/track or contact us using the details provided in Section 10.
8. GST on Refunds
Jointhevent is fully compliant with India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations. The following provisions apply to refunds:
- A GST-compliant credit note is issued for all approved refunds, in accordance with applicable tax laws.
- The GST amount is refunded proportionally based on the refund percentage configured by the event organizer. For example, if a 50% refund is issued, the GST refund will also be 50% of the original GST charged on the ticket price.
- Credit notes are available for download from the Platform and can be used for your tax records and compliance purposes.
- GST on non-refundable fees (platform convenience fee and payment gateway charges) is not refunded.
9. Disputes & Escalation
If you have any concerns or disputes regarding a refund, we recommend the following escalation process:
- Contact the event organizer first. Since refund policies are set by individual event organizers, they are best positioned to address refund-related queries specific to their event.
- Escalate to the Platform. If your concern is not resolved by the event organizer, you may contact us at SPJSportsManagement@gmail.com. Our team will review your case and work toward a fair resolution.
- Include your Order ID in all communications to ensure prompt and accurate handling of your query.
